Chris Carrell

Chris is a former electrical engineer enjoying retirement in his later years. One of his many hobbies is photography. What draws Chris to photography is the multi-faceted nature of the hobby. There’s the art form of capturing a compelling image, the knowledge required to properly manipulate the tools, and the fundamental sciences of optics and the recording processes, both digital and chemical. There’s also the element of discovery, understanding how classic images have been formed in the past and how they can be recreated using modern tools.  

From this perspective, this website serves as a personal record of his journey of discovery.
